Hi! I’m Mady, and I’m a singer, artist, teacher, and lover of history. Most importantly, I am a devoted mother and serve as the eyes and ears of a 14 year old pug, Daisy May.
My Story
I started singing and performing when I was very young by singing a shaky and nerve-fueled rendition of “Defying Gravity” in front of my whole school. I’ve been taking voice lessons with an emphasis on classical and musical theatre styles ever since. I first started teaching voice technique while in college with over a decade of training under my belt. I’ve loved expanding my studio and now provide audition coaching and lessons with an emphasis on acting, musical theatre, pop, and classical vocal styles.
I picked up watercoloring as a way to destress during college and began painting pet portraits as affordable holiday gift options for my fellow students. I now paint pet portraits year round! As an animal lover myself, it brings me a lot of joy to immortalize our best friends in paint!
I chose to minor in history at my university because it has always been a passion of mine. It was a great opportunity to be able to go into a deeper exploration of the topic, especially of the medieval and early modern periods. I would love to do more work in those fields in the future.
