How fare ye?
Hi! I’m Mady and welcome to my website. I’m a voice teacher, singer, and watercolor artist currently based near Washington, D.C. I spend most of my free time pushing my elderly, snoring, pug monster in her bright pink stroller.

In college, I minored in history, focusing on the medieval and early modern periods. I am especially passionate about the Tudor era and the role of women during the time. The stories of women like Anne Boleyn, Jane Grey, and Mary Queen of Scots have been a constant source of badass inspiration for me.

Through performing, painting, and teaching I try to promote the importance of the arts in all peoples’ lives. I believe that in order to grow in any aspect of our lives we must be willing to take risks, so when teaching I strive to create a supportive and safe atmosphere where risk-taking is possible.

Voice Studio
I started teaching voice almost four years ago to a small group of students and since then have been expanding my little studio. I work to provide affordable voice lessons and audition coaching for those in the business to those looking to pick up a relaxing hobby.

Watercolors
Watercoloring was a great stress reliever during college and I took to painting the thing I love most, animals. Painting pet portraits has expanded from just an affordable holiday gift option for students to a year round possibility.
Take a look at some examples of my pet portraits and contact me below if you are interested in commissioning!
